Project Overview
BKB Group Australia successfully delivered a custom-engineered fire water storage tank for a large-scale commercial development in Preston, located in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. Designed to meet the needs of a high-demand site, this project demonstrates BKB’s capability in delivering large-volume, compliant water storage solutions with precision and efficiency.
The rectangular tank measures an impressive 17 metres in length, 4.5 metres in width, and 2 metres in height. Internally, a robust dividing wall separates the structure into two isolated compartments, each with an effective water storage capacity of 55kL. This design allows for redundancy and operational flexibility—ideal for commercial fire protection systems that require dual-tank performance.
Constructed to meet AS2304:2019 standards and all relevant national codes, this tank reflects BKB Group’s unwavering commitment to industry compliance, quality, and performance. The tank features a galvanised (GAL) finish, offering superior corrosion resistance and durability for long-term service life in varied environmental conditions.
