BKB Group successfully completed a rooftop water tank installation at a commercial building located on Flinders Lane in the heart of Melbourne’s Central Business District. This complex project involved the precision crane lift of a custom-engineered BKB Rectangular Panel Tank, with a total capacity of 80,600 litres—split into two 35,000-litre sections to allow for seamless integration and load distribution on the rooftop structure.

Engineered and constructed in compliance with AS2304-2019 water storage standards, the fire-rated panel tank plays a critical role in bolstering the building’s fire protection system. The tank was designed to meet stringent regulatory requirements while accommodating the spatial limitations of an urban rooftop environment.
