Project Overview

BKB HVAC recently completed a major mechanical services upgrade at Central Park Perth, one of Western Australia’s most iconic commercial buildings. The project involved the replacement of an aging chiller and cooling tower system, critical to maintaining efficient and reliable HVAC performance in a high-demand commercial environment.

As part of the system upgrade, BKB supplied and installed a Southern Cross SOV 200-150-400 long coupled pump—a robust, high-capacity solution known for its superior hydraulic performance, energy efficiency, and long operational lifespan. This pump selection ensures optimal flow rates and system balance for the new chiller and cooling tower infrastructure.

The project scope included full removal of the existing equipment, installation of the new long coupled pump, chiller, and cooling tower units, as well as system commissioning and performance testing. The new setup significantly enhances the cooling capacity of the building while reducing energy consumption and ongoing maintenance costs.
