Project Overview
BKB Group successfully delivered a comprehensive industrial fire protection system at a major site in Essendon Fields, Victoria, incorporating a double diesel sprinkler fire pump system and a 558kL circular fire water storage tank, powder coated in Surfmist for aesthetic and environmental integration.
This fire system was purpose-built to support the sprinkler demands of a modern industrial facility, ensuring compliance with stringent fire safety regulations while maintaining operational reliability. The dual diesel fire pumps, housed within a robust, weather-resistant enclosure, were designed and manufactured to meet AS2941:2013 standards, offering exceptional performance, system redundancy, and long-term reliability in emergency scenarios.
Complementing the pump system is a 558,000-litre circular water tank, engineered and fabricated in accordance with AS2304:2019. The tank provides a dedicated and durable fire water supply, with Surfmist powder coating enhancing corrosion resistance and visual alignment with the surrounding infrastructure.
The custom-built pump enclosure offers superior noise reduction, secure housing for equipment, and easy maintenance access. It reflects BKB Group’s commitment to delivering turnkey fire protection solutions that combine form, function, and long-lasting quality.
